Having hope and faith when it seems like no one is there with you…

Many of you have embarked on new digital journeys, new jobs, are looking for jobs, or otherwise, so I wanted to impart some thoughts from personal experience from many years prior.

Standing alone in the world, especially when friends and family turn away, is a raw, hollow ache. It’s the quiet weight of your own conviction pressing against a tide of doubt from those you thought would hold you up. I can remember many such occasions such when I had lived in Mexico many years back to this very day.

But there’s a fierce strength in it, too—choosing your path when the chorus of voices calls you back. It’s not about defiance for its own sake; it’s about trusting the compass inside you, even when it points to uncharted ground.

The loneliness stings, no question, but it carves out space for clarity. You learn who you are when the noise fades. You find resilience in the silence, a root-deep certainty that doesn’t need applause to stand firm. Keep walking.

We often have a false perception of reality, such as the photo above. I saw this in a rest stop bathroom while traveling the US (I think Oregon, but I can’t remember). The world will not love you back — certainly, individuals for sure, but not the world. For what is love? Is it a dog that lies on your face? 😉 Oh, certainly it is a kind of love, but …

The world itself is full of evil. Only Jesus can impart true love. Just remember, whatever path you are on, there will be times when you are not necessarily alone but very lonely. You will do things, create things, or say things, and no one will seem to care. As hard as it is in the moment, don’t take it personally.

Remember, there is no telling what people are going through behind the scenes.

The world may not see you yet, but you’re building something real. Keep building. Keep learning. Keep loving. Keep working. Never stop.

Always press forward through the muck and through the deafening silence.

As you forge ahead on your unique path, let the quiet moments of solitude become your teachers, guiding you to a deeper understanding of your own heart. The world may not always offer its embrace, and the silence from others can feel like a heavy cloak, but within that stillness lies the opportunity to cultivate a love and resilience that is unshakable.

Lean into the truth of who you are, trusting that every step you take, every effort you pour out, is shaping a legacy of courage and authenticity. You are not defined by the world’s applause but by the quiet, steadfast beat of your own purpose but just assure your life is directed by a Higher Purpose.

Keep pressing forward, dear traveler, through the loneliness and the unseen struggles, for your journey is crafting something eternal. The world may not yet see the beauty of your efforts, but in the eyes of the One who imparts true love, every moment of your perseverance shines.

Hold fast to that love, let it anchor you, and never cease to build, to learn, to create. Your path, though solitary at times, is never walked alone—carry on with hope, knowing that each step is a testament to a faith and strength that will endure.
